Adaptive Religeon April 29, 2008

Faiths have to face the following reforms in the years to come or risk becoming outdated:
1. Accept the Popper principle. Religeons have to update, its no use continuing to use windows NT because someone on high said it was the way to go and avoid any upgrade. Times change and religeons have to flex to be considered useful. Most exisitng religeons stem from a serious update to a previous religeon anyway and the update relfected the times – why can’t this be continued?
Its the dogma, the unproven hangover from ignorance, that is the central point in any Dawkins argument, even Dawkins cannot disprove spirituality.
2. Avoid the club nature. The ‘your either with us or against us’ nature of many religeons drives people away in droves. There will never be a single religeon on the planet so why not be a choice. Selection of faith based on avoidance of threat is a tactic used in drug dealing to guerilla gangs, can’t we step above this.
Are there more….
