Posted by admin in : Uncategorized , 3commentsGreat running on a chilly Frankfurt morning, staying be outskirts in walldorf and some good forest running, got totally lost but the environment sustained some great thinking time. Focused on presentation skills, these are fundamental to much of our professional development. Despite the fact I have given hundreds of presentations I still get nervous and still can’t say I have ever given a perfect presentation. So what is the trick? Often nervousness retracts us from the audience when we need to attach ourselves. My heroes and heroines in this space open themselves up and walk naked into their delivery. Rather than spending valuable mental capacity on avoidance of the situation they waltz right in and gain the key differentiator which is a relaxed mind that can change approach based on intuiting the audience. They are more ‘there’ than others. If anyone has any further insight on this I would be so keen to learn.
